Privacy Policy

FOR U Rides is a transportation request service operated under the FOR U GROUP brand by FOR U TRANSPORTATION LLC. This policy describes the Colorado service, currently covering Denver metro cities.
Information we collect
When you request a ride, we collect your name, phone number, email address, pickup and destination addresses and cities, requested time, service type, and any trip notes you provide. We also store a request reference, a private status token, timestamps, verified trip coordinates when available, driver assignment details, trip activity, and notification records. We temporarily store hashed network identifiers to limit abusive requests. If you contact support, we collect your email and message.
How we use it
We use this information to review availability, coordinate the ride, communicate about your request, provide status updates, respond to support requests, and maintain operational records. Please avoid putting diagnoses or other unnecessary medical details in trip notes.
Sharing
We may share trip details with dispatch personnel, assigned drivers, and service providers needed to operate and host the service. We do not sell personal information. We do not process payments. If you choose Use my current location, your device location is used to look up your pickup address. When enabled, Google Maps processes address and map requests. Assigned drivers can choose to share their GPS location while their trip page is open; recent driver locations are shown through the rider’s private status link. No background driver tracking is provided. If you enable Android push notifications, we store a device notification token linked to your ride and use Firebase Cloud Messaging to send ride updates. If you opt in to ride SMS notifications, a messaging provider processes your phone number and trip update messages.
Storage and access
Requests are stored in our hosted database. Authorized dispatch staff can review them. Your private status link shows limited trip details; anyone with that link can view limited trip details and available driver location, so keep it private. We keep records while needed for operations and applicable obligations, and handle deletion requests individually.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct or delete information, or ask questions about how it is used, through the support form. Include your request reference if you have one. Some records may need to be retained for operational or legal reasons.
Updates
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above will change when we do.
